♥ Square face make up 2... December 27, 2012
Wow, many have actually viewed the post on square face make up.
I'm not sure if it's useful for you?
But, it did for me...
Let me review a bit on what are the items I've used.
1. Moisturiser
Coz I have terribly oily skin and humid weather doesn't help. Hence, keeping my face moist is very important.
2. Sun Block
I'm currently using Biore UV Aqua Sun Block. I know some people say that actually 30 to 35++ is suffice, but it's quite rare to find. Plus, this actually has pearl like shine. So it doesn't make your face look flat, gives your face a certain glow even if you doesn't have any make up on!

3. Concealer
Have you actually find it irritating and troublesome to use a concealer and have to wash your brush or your finger before doing any other things? Previously I was using mouse and liquid type. I've tried using brushes and finger tips. But it irritates me when I have to clean them off before I can smudge my eye colours or change my clothes. I'm amazed and very satsified with this concealer stick that Revlon came up with!
It's like lipstick, just twist and then use it like a concealer with brush. It gives very good coverage and actually managed to cover up my BLUE BLACK with GREEN VEINS dark circles! Trust me, other than amazing cosmetics from Sephora, no other concealers managed to do this! Plus, Revlon's made this concealer way cheaprer than amazing cosmentics!

4.Two Way Cake Foundation
I've actually mentioned this before, I'm still using Maybelline's Mineral Two Way Cake Foundation. It gives me good coverage and managed to stay "unmelted" for the whole day (about 6 hours). The only thing that I find it kinda irritating is that the coverage is too well covered, makes it look as though I have a plasticky face or a porcelin doll face. Sometimes, I just used this only on top of the concealer plus loose powder (Step 5). If I'm rushing for time, I'll just do the whole face.
5. Loose Powder
I do thtis only when I've got time to slowly do my make up, OR I'm going out for more than 8 hours (sometimes 12). This actually does give my face a more natural look and sets a more consistent colour throughout. Because it is actually a very thin layer, it does shows the curves and highlights of the face properly instead of a whole flat face. Also, using loose powder actually prevents the face from becoming way too oily. Like I mentioned, two way cake foundation can only last me for 6 hours (max) without the use of primer. Using loose powder managed to keep my face less oily! (I don't really know the science behind it but who cares?) It doesn't clog my pores and doesn't have melted make up. SO I'm Happy~
6. Blush
I know how some actually says that blush should be elongated to make
yourself look less fat, and it should be the triangular shaped from the
apple to the muscle above your chin. I used to do this... but now, I'm
doing this!

Yes, you've got that right! I'm blushing like procelain dolls! Brush your blush in circular motion just at the apple of your cheeks!
7. Highlighter
They call this Mirage Highlight Powder, comes in various colour. I'm not sure if they've export to other countries since I've got this in Bangkok! It does have a shimmery feel to it to give your face a natural glow, but it doesn't actually glow as brightly as shimmer powder. I'll use this at points only, ie, under the dark circles and above the cheeks. On nose bridge and centre forehead. And on my chin, below my lips! Just to let the light shine and make my face more 3 dimensional!

Later proceed with your usual eyelines and colours!
Do let me know if these work out for you~ All of these items should cost you lesser than USD80? Hence, very affordable even, to students!
Post these up as New Year wishes and pray people will present them to you as your gifts!
Happy 2013!
PS
Probably you'll like to take a look at this too! "Pink Passion Magic Pearl Powder" I'm guessing this is the shimmer powder.
