♥ Garfield's Diner...July 24, 2012
Since the last post on Garfield's Defense, I've been trying to find hints and tips on the other game that Web Prance came up with.
Garfield's Diner
I suppose everyone has been very familiar with Diner Dash, Garfield's Diner is very similar. Just that you need not take caution on the colour the customers are wearing, and there's no such thing as different customers have varying patience and time spending on menu etc.
However, there's different station which serve different food, like Spaghetti, Drink, Salad etc. On the easier level, you'll start with Spaghetti and Pizza, then you'll work up to Drinks, Salad, HotDog and Burger station.
You'll be able to upgrade the stations to have faster serving time, together with the cash register. Furnitures like Jukebox and seats will help to prolong their patience.
When you start a new day, you'll be able to earn satisfaction, coins and Garfield's coin. Most of the upgrading can be paid using coins, but for certain upgrade or improvement like upgrading the skills of your waiters will require Garfield's coin.
These Garfield's coin are generally very difficult to attain. The goals will be pretty "stressful" and the other method of gaining these coins without literally have to pay it is to claim it from the daily rewards.
But seriously, even if you don't play the game daily and just log in to claim the reward, you're not able to afford the upgrades. Upgrading will cost you 40-50 Garfield's coin and getting a newbie like robot cat or Garfield to help out will cost you 300 Garfield's coin.
On the whole, it does addict me to a certain extent, just like Diner Dash, but it makes it really frustrating to be unable to attain those Garfield's coins.
Plus, I tried to figure out are there any tips which I can share... (I've spent like hours on this game) and the only tips I've figured out so far, is...
1. Try to make them serve the customers which are by the side.
Reduce the walking distance and time wasted for them to serve from 1 end to another.
2. Fill up all the stations and use Blue coloured "Power Potion" to help speed up
their serving speeds.
This speed increase tremendously and they'll generally finish their job before you can change the customers from station to stations.
3. The speed for this list of character is in descending order. Jon Arbuckle, Doc Boy, Dr. Liz Wilson
Hence, let Jon do most of the work. And since he's the fastest, let him be the one that require to travel from end to end if needed, ie. From Salad station to HotDog Station.
Let Dr Liz serve at the stations that are near the aisle, ie, Spaghetti, pizza and drink stations.
Have fun playing!
