♥ Facial Cleanser recommendations...March 29, 2010
Currently I'm using this facial cleanser in which I got from Watson.
Best Face Forward Formula 10.0.6
Doesn't the name looks weird? At first glance i haven't got any idea what the brand is when I first got this. But I guess I've made a correct choice. It doesn't have any claims like exfoliating or whitening or acne treatment but it does hit the most basic treatment that a cleanser should- Clean, washes away impurities and oil. It is a clear cleanser that is yellow in colour. It says that it has extract of passion fruit, chamomile and green tea.
Passion fruit is yellow/ orange in colour in which basically these colour fruits are known for their ability to boost immune system as they are rich in vitamin C and A. It is said that passion fruit has the ability of reducing chances of certain cancer and anti-microbial activity. However, it is not as strong as the critic acid in Orange that dries up the skin.
Also, Chamomile is good as a mild relaxant and help reduce anxiety. Hence, it relaxes the skin on our face that we wear cosmetics everyday even on weekends. We are putting so much stress on that skin everyday that we haven't notice a difference until it is too late. Now that we are now getting older by the day and make up seems like a necessity. Hence, remember to give your skin a rest just like you need a vacation yourself!
Right the last benefit- Green tea. Let's just skip this it's over rated and we all know the benefit of green tea.
Conclusively, I would recommend this facial cleanser over many others that I had used. Stop thinking bout getting cleanser that targets at acne/ pimple/ exfoliating/ whitening/ black head. Erm... what else are there? But the main thing of all of these is to make sure your skin are clean of impurities and oil. Without all these impurities the skin is less prone to bacterial problems that causes acne and pimple. Exfoliation, let's just say you'll just get a facial scrub that can do the job. Sometimes, something just can't be 3 in 1. In addition, when your facial scrub works, whitening and black head would just come along. Unless you're saying that you want to inject some antibiotics into your skin. Then... you should use injection/ pills etc.
Anywayz, it's not that expensive judging it's from Australia and it still had that formula no. 10.0.6 since 1933.Come on! People did test this formula 10 times with 6 semi test of it! And unchanged since 1933... It's only 12.50 SGD (i believe...)
Fine... maybe the formula and since 1933 is just another marketing strategy. But it did work didn't it? No extra designs on the packaging or advertisements like Neutrogena/ Loreal/ Dove does.
