♥ Depression setting in...July 05, 2008
I really think that I'm a lagger!
My friends here was emo the night before and everyone was like crying and I'm the only one who was still sober and ask them to wash their face etc...
I may sound like I'm quite a nagger and so mum-like, but I believe when you feel like crying, don't trouble others and carry on with the stuffs you are going to work on.
Anyway, I was the only one feeling emo today, and my biggest concern was that I PAID S$3K+ TO COME HERE DO SHIT! I'm a graduate for goodness sake! Not from some Afghanistan University but at least it's RMIT! I have better general knowledge than these people working around me! And what the fuck am I doing here!!!!
Really, my friends are working back home gaining experience already while I'm here doing jobs that are fit for 15 year olds! Some of my friends say this is an investment to colour our resumé, but I really don't see how that may seem to help me in the near future. Unless, I'm put to manage a restaurant or something alike.
OMG! This really saddens me and I beginning to feel that the depression period is starting real soon. Like the previous day, I just cried for no reason (or too many reasons) and refuses to go out with my friends. They manage to asked me go with them in the end 'cos it was downtown Disney and they inject me with the who-can-miss-it kind of feeling.
Anywayz, even though I didn't like Orlando as much as any other freaking place; I fell in love with St Augustine! It's like one of the best place to be in USA! The trip there felt like I was dreaming... True, it's in USA and it's a tourist spot. But that's what makes it so interesting! It's beautiful, stress-free and the people there are really friendly! Imagine I'm so excited and glad that I actually walked the streets myself (really alone) without a map in hand! I manage to converse with the cafe owner who was a former navy and he know Singapore! And his freaking crepes were damn good! Oh! I forgot to mention a little about St Augustine. It's the oldest town in USA and it was being fought over by Spain and England. We visited this Fort (I know, how often do you get to see a real fort) and it was being built by Spain and you'll get to see how clever and "clever" the people were back then and of course, the canons that were made in Spain. I saw many from Sevilla and I saw one from.... BARCELONA! Oppx, I'm really a Barcelona freak....
Anywayz, I took some pictures, but it's not with me currently. I'll try to upload them asap....
Oh... PS: I think working in service industry really require you to be a hypocrite. That's the reason why we all hate service industry and well... there are Singaporeans here whom are like that. And I have to become one of them.... Oh well, life goes on when it goes on...
Update later~~~
