finally watched da vinci code today with peixin. i thought we were the only ones that got it so late... but there's half cinema of pple got it with us...
i know there's thousand of pple have watched it... but if anyone still interested in my review, here it is...
if a movie were to be made from a book, then the book is going to be alot better. so read it first before watching it. it will definitely cut away alot of details, explaination and actions! or worse, change the plot!
that was what happened to memoirs of a geisha, harry potter and definitely the star of my today's update- the da vinci code.
the movie showed the general idea of the whole book. but the show does not provide enough details and explanation and action for the aid of the development of the plot.
they did not show the artistic points of the show. the so called 艺术特色 was terrible. if someone believe that a movie most important is the plot, i disagree. i think that the arts in the movie is the most important one. and this show disappoint me alot... there's was only 2 which was the very clear ones in the books.
the book has displayed alot of 艺术特色 from the start to the end. but the movie did not show as many of those.
but the actors were good. tom hanks definitely suited robert langdon damn well. so did neveu and fache. and of coz leigh teabing a confirmed english. wonderful acting! the only weird acting i think was the manager of the bank and collet.
overall, i think was only average movie. but the churches and museum was a wonderful scenes!

went to shu han's housewarming bbq today. he movied to the carribean bay... the one beside the harbour front. it was bbbbbeautiful! but it is very very expensive... imagine it's even more expensive than my house. and it was pathetic. those frenz i know went off early.. and i was left alone for the next 2 hours? but i survived it...
had some conversation with his frens. they came from different places in singapore. and i just realised that i'm definitely old. i dun talk bout sch anymore. cos, it does not matter that much to me anymore. i realise what matter to me is how i could survive the rest of my life.
i also realise that im glad that i did not spealise and went into music. that's not the way i want my life to be. music to be is rest, leisure and love. and i would not want love to turn into stress and hatred. but music is one that i would not give up.
so that's for now...
